Mohamed G. Saleh, MD, DC, is the owner and director of Neu Urgent Care. He attends to both acute and primary care patients at Neu’s medical office in Hazel Park, Michigan, and also oversees the clinic’s staff.
Dr. Saleh is board certified in family medicine, addiction medicine, and chiropractic medicine. He holds certifications from the American Board of Disability Analysts, the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, the American Board of Physical Therapy, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Cairo in Egypt, attending on a full academic scholarship and being named to the dean’s list. He obtained his doctor of chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, also attending on a full academic scholarship.
After completing his residency in family medicine at Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan, Dr. Saleh accepted a staff position there. At the hospital, he still serves as associate program director in the family medicine residency program, as a staff physician, and as part of the faculty. He is also an independent medical examiner, advising a number of auto insurance carriers about auto-related injuries and disability claims.
In the past, Dr. Saleh served as an adjunct instructor at Life University, as the medical director of an urgent care clinic, and as an addiction specialist at a methadone clinic. He retains active membership in several professional medical organizations, including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pain Management, and the International Chiropractors Association.
